Child safety standards

WithMe is for adults only

You must be 18 or older to use WithMe. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up and do not allow anyone under 18 to register. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it.

What is not allowed

The following are banned on WithMe, in profiles, photos, vibes (activity posts) and messages:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, edited or AI-generated images
• Sexualising minors, or sexual conversations with or about minors
• Grooming: building trust with a minor to exploit them, online or in person
• Sextortion, or threatening anyone with intimate images
• Using WithMe to arrange to meet a minor, or to trade, sell or advertise minors
• Linking to, or asking for, any of the above outside WithMe

How to report a concern

• In the app: open the person's profile or your chat with them, tap Report, choose a reason and describe what happened. You can also block them straight away.
• By email: write to support@withmeapp.pk with the subject "Child safety". You don't need a WithMe account to report.
• If a child is in immediate danger, contact local police (15 in Pakistan) first.

Our moderation team reviews child safety reports before any other kind of report.

What we do

When we find or are told about CSAE on WithMe, we:

• Remove the content and ban the account immediately, without warning, so its email can't be used on WithMe again
• Watch for and ban new accounts made by the same person
• Preserve the evidence and report it to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Pakistan's National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA)
• Cooperate fully with law enforcement requests

We comply with all child safety laws that apply to us, including Pakistan's Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016.
