Delete your WithMe account

1. Delete it in the app

1. Open WithMe and go to your Profile.
2. Open Settings.
3. Under Danger Zone, tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account is closed after a 3-day grace period. Logging back in during those 3 days cancels the request.

If you no longer have the app, email support@withmeapp.pk from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my WithMe account". We'll confirm and close it within 7 days.

What we remove

When your account is closed, you can no longer log in and nobody on WithMe can see or find you. In chats you appear as "Deleted user". We remove:

• Your profile: name, username, bio, interests, city, date of birth and gender
• Your profile photos
• Your vibes (activity posts), friend connections and pending join requests
• Your notification (push) token

What we keep, and for how long

To keep the community safe and prevent fraud (for example, someone deleting an account after scamming people and signing up again), we keep a limited set of records for up to 12 months after your account is closed:

• Your account email address, so we can recognise accounts that were closed after abuse
• Messages you sent to other people, so they keep their conversation history and can report abuse
• Safety reports made by or about you
• Identity verification data, including your verification selfie

These records are hidden from everyone except our safety team and are permanently deleted after 12 months. If a safety report about the account is still under review at that point, they're kept until the review is finished.
